CZRC on Breakfast Television

Bright and early 10 officials and your Chairman were at Max Bell for 3 hours doing a live TV shoot with City TV and their Breakfast Television show.  They gave a great demonstration on how to do icings, offsides, call penalties, drop the puck, and share with viewers why they referee.  Their was a big contingent from Chestermere who came out including their recent and past "referees of the year".  The officials were Mitch Campbell, Jonathan Torgrimson, Zach Molnar, Harrison Fawcett, and Braxton Barth.  The women of the zone were well represented by Rikki-lee Gavin, Shannon Kline, and Miranda Wagg.  Calgary was represented by Greg Wagg and Dave Coles in particular.

A great time was had by all, and in 3 short hours we got Jill Belland trained up to the point where she can be a timekeeper!  :)

Thanks to Christina Rogers and Hockey Calgary for arranging the event.  It was so great to have such a spotlight cast on the hardworking officials from Central Zone!
