RuralThe Central Zone encompasses many communities surrounding Calgary that are situated in the central area of Alberta. The zone stretches from the BC border to the Saskatchewan border and extends from Crossfield south to Claresholm. Each community within this zone is administered by the CZRC. However, each community is responsible for assigning its own hockey and looking after the officials that reside in that community. If you require information regarding the officiating program in each of these communities, you should contact the appropriate Referee-in-Chief/Coordinator (RIC) for that community. The RIC for each community are listed below. If the community in which you are interested is not listed please contact one of the members of the CZRC Executive and we will be happy to provide you the appropriate information.
